No worries, it's really difficult to insult me and frankly I think that my ideas are a little far fetched, but that's the way I feel and I've learned that I can't change that.  When I was 8 I thought that trickle down economics, being pro-life, and having a big military was a good thing.  Now I don't.  I know that I'm one of the ones that give Liberals a bad name.  The only reason why I choose that title is because their ideas are the ones that are the closest to mine.  Who knows, it could be my quarter-life crisis and I may come out of this a hard line conservative.  I'm always open to a change of opinion if there is enough justification to do so.

Read "The Market For Liberty" by Morris and Linda Tannehill. It describes how a laissez faire country would offer everything you want. A laissez faire country is one in which everything is privatized and there is no government.

Everything we want or everything the stockholders would want?

Only government has the right to use force to achieve its' ends. Without big government, businesses can only entice people to use their products. In a laisssez faire society, only using force and fraud would be illegal.

Wouldn't that make the corporations the government by default and allow them to monopolize and force people to use their products?  You can't enforce laws if you have no government elected by the people.

Mutually agreed upon binding arbitration and police insurance would solve those problems.

Ok, IF that could ever happen here's what would happen.  For example: Apple would make a deal exclusivly with AMD to make microprocessors for it's computers.  Because AMD has a monopoly over what processors go into Apple, it will acquire more wealth.  Because it is gaining garunteed revenue it will need to expand to keep up with Apple's needs.  AMD will then go out and buy smaller electronics manufacturing corporations so that they can keep up with demand.  As Apple keeps selling, AMD will need to keep expanding.  Microsoft sees this as a threatl so Microsoft makes a power move and buys out Apple, but Microsoft has a contract with Intel so Microsoft loans Intel some money to buy out AMD.  Microsoft then stops making parts for any Apple systems rendering them obsolete.  So now we're at basically one computer company for the entire nation.  So let's say that Exxon want's a database software to run it's business.  Since Microsoft is the only manufacturer out there Exxon has to buy from Microsoft.  Because MS has a monopoly on that market, they charge outrageous prices to Exxon which causes gas prices to go up so that Exxon can afford to own the database software....

Do you want me to go on or do you see where I'm going with this?

What would happen is one company eventually taking over ALL companies which would in turn produce everything that we make.  This would mean a one world government created by the corporations not by the people.  Seriously, if you want I can write the rest down so you can see where it would end up.

It doesn't work that way. Ayn Rand explained it in "Capitalism, The Unknown Ideal". If you go to The Drudge Report and link to Walter E. Williams or Thomas Sowell you can find numerous articles to explain how a free market works. "Capitalism and Freedom" by MiltonFreidman is a good resource.

Ok you win, if we succumb to corporations, they will take care of us and all will be right with the world while we slave on for piddly wages, if we're lucky enough to get wages.  I mean Walmart is taking care of it's people perfectly right?  That's capitalism at it's finest.
