Have the lives of public officials been made to public?

Do you feel that media scrutiny of public officials' private lives become excessive? Where do you think the line needs to be drawn?

Yes, I think it is very excessive... :P

Not sure where a line should be drawn, but we just don't need to know every detail of their personal lives...

The line should be drawn at the point where it doesn't effect a candidates performance in office. As a result, no I don't think the media has gone too far. They should be going further.

Bill and Hillary Clinton have not fully declared the sources of their income. Millions of dollars are unaccounted for and likely a large portion came from Bill's friend in Dubai.

Barrack Obama still has not answered questions about his dealings with Tony Rezko.

I agree with you Greg.  If someone wants my vote, I want to know all I can about him/her.
