Nosh,
You are right. A lot of talent and seem to only put it together about once a decade.  ;D

Midnight Cowboy,
I don't know nothing? I am old enough to be your grandfather and I have coached a few sports. I know many of the sports people in the county, young and old timers. Most know me. Even though you disrespect me, I will continue to respect you and all the kids on these sports topics. I enjoy your input.

Thanks, my bad im just gettin a little aggravated.

For sure they got shut down bad. Mason can run their mouths all they want but they are probally one of the worst teams in the region.

I would be careful how we choose our words this early in the season.  Ida may have put up 39 points, but they gave up 15 to a not so good BCC team.  Nic Jobe is an incredible player, and he probably makes that Ida team.  What would that game have been like w/o him, probably a lot closer.  Now we're talking about Mason v. SMCC.  First, we would all have had to expect a lot from Mason to turn around from a 2-7 season, add a new coach and offense/defense, and then beat or play w/ SMCC.  Down year or not, SMCC reloads each season.  But then, Mason had to play w/o its offensive work horse Dusseau.  Kind of like asking Ida to play w/o Jobe, and then throw in another starter.  I was at the Mason game, saw a lot of positives, but anyone could tell their running game was lacking w/o Dusseau, it wasn't solely because of SMCC's D, b/c there were holes there that Dusseau would have hit for some big yards.

I think Mason will be much improved this season, it's just too bad they had to open w/ SMCC when teams like Ida find the weakest competition they can and then think they're world beaters for winning.  As for who'll bring it, Ida or Mason, we have one more week and then on 9/7 we'll see.

Maybe but i think BCC would of still hace struggled against ida without jobe because we had 1 quite a few interceptions where jobe played no part in them also a coulple of fumble recovers, it probally would have been a little closer but over half of our touch downs were ran from interceptions or fumbles.

Mason will be his next big test. The bluestreaks are 2-0 this year but would not had won the game against Clinton if not for Jobe. He is a good kid with a very nice Family. D-1 maybee a bench warmer but D-2 a starter for sure.
