My buddy with an Evo had to go to Cleveland to ride with a group of other Evo owners ...

Which pleases me ... cuz I really don't care for that scene too much.

No but I know the Evo in question. I blew past it in my Z28 yesterday.  I know he'd kill me usually ... but I had to.

The Evo I am referring to is all black out of Ohio.

I don't understand those stupid Jap cars with shopping cart wings and fart can mufflers...Evo's and STi's might be fast, but they are UGLY...the only Jap car I have any respect for is the Supra TT..and only because it's an inline 6 and RWD.

I don't care for em much either Squonk. My buddy has an amazing VW he's tricked out to all get out. Now its fast as hell with about 550 to the wheels.

550 hp in a VW....My thinking is, he spent WAY more than that car will ever be worth to do that. That's one thing I do not understand..somebody drops a shitload of money into his 4 banger Honda, VW, whatever, makes it into something it was never designed to be, so far away from anything the car was built as to be rediculous, and then they have the audacity to try and compare their car to a bone stock Mustang GT, or Camaro SS, etc and play the foreign beats domestic crap.

yes i do have a tuner not a ricer.but yet tell him to get on there if he is already on toledotuners then i never see him post ect.but yet i hate the newer main stream cars like the evo skyline sti ect .but i own a 93 civic hatchback thats teal.

Do you like the old CRX's? I have noticed, alot of the Honda/tuner crowd ADORE those things for some reason.

Actually of all the guys I know who do this ... he's about one of maybe 3 or 4 I respect. He buys the shells and builds himself and makes the car what it is. The entire project is his.

The really surprising thing is he always turns them around for a profit when he is done with them.

But I agree ... I'd rather take the American muscle any day. Henceforth the z28.

that would be because them things are the lightest honda's basically known.they can be made to either haul major balls or can handle like no other for dirty cheap.
