Yes Miss Lee,

I have read the Communist Manifesto, have you?

In case you have not I will post the 10 planks for you. It is a two tier society, the leaders or privlidged class and the working class, I hope you noticed there is no middle class.

1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.

2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.

3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.

4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.

5. Centralization of credit in the banks of the state, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly.

6. Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the state.

7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state; the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.

8. Equal obligation of all to work. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.

9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of all the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the populace over the country.

10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, etc.

What part do you not agree with?

I disagree that this is the agenda of both parties. I fear the Military-industrial complex more then communism. I believe this is where our nation is headed, or perhaps fascism.

I'm not sure how you can say you fear fascism more than communism when the later always leads to the former.

Note I stated I am not sure of the fascism, but it does frighten me. I do agree with your statement Greg. I do believe communism in it's old form is dead. Perhaps a bastardized form. We all know the direction this nation is headed is not good for us. What the hell do we do? The majority have faith in our leaders, I shudder when using that word. If I talk to my friends and some of my family, they nod their heads, but do not offer opinions. I know they think I am a bit" out there" politically. Are people really satisfied with the status quo?

Oh My Gosh!!!  These cracks on Hillary are classic!  A bit mean spirited, but HYSTERICALLY FUNNY and completely OK by me!

Not to mention a relief.  I thought I was the only one.

Ha!  Thanks for belly laughs.

And to think I've stayed away from this thread until now because I figured it was a "We Love Hillary" club.

(mean to horses...................... AH - HAHAHAHAHAH!  What a crackup!)

I've never met a real live person who can even stand the thought of Hillary. I don't even think our favorite liberal sue lee likes Hillary very much. (LOL sue lee, no meaness intended, just trying to prove a point  ;D)

Ok, I'm about to hear crickets, I know. And so long to everyone I've made friends with here....

I admire Hillary Clinton. She is a very strong, very intelligent woman. She is a leader. She is blazing the trail for women to ascend to real power. She might not be sexy, she might not be 100% honest (show me a politician who is!), and she very likely will never be president. But someday, because of the strides she has made toward breaking down the prejudices and barriers for female leaders, perhaps my daughters can lead the free world.

I admire all strong and fearless women.
