Supposedly, Thompson is lazy.  During his eight years in the Senate, he was only able to get four laws passed into existence.  And he is planning to campaign less than other candidates.  If I were a Republican looking for someone to support - and I'm not - I'd be interested in someone willing to get his *** off the porch.

Great find!

I really liked the very last part of the story that shows that even he thought he was lazy:

In his yearbook at Lawrenceburg County High, Thompson put this quote next to his senior portrait: "The lazier a man is, the more he plans to do tomorrow."

Do we really want someone that will continue to put things off until tomorrow?

This is what I see when I visit:

"Sorry Frenchfry, you are banned from posting and sending personal messages on this forum.
This ban is not set to expire."

No emails, no warnings, no communication whatsoever...just that ban

May be what happened to the other libs as well.

I guess disabling the report to admin link only on the lib side was indicative of the slanted games they play.

Enjoy your spoon-fed Faux News type right-wing echo-chamber.

Edited to add:

This is the only way to answer some of the questions posed:

1) I did nothing to warrant the banishment, it's political.

2) It's the router that's blocked but considering all the nonsense right-wing games being played by those running the site...it's just not worth it to bypass the banishment block.

3) The moron stalkers from MT contemplating a visit will be considered a threat and can expect to have a bad day if they act upon those idiotic thoughts.

Well FF, I don't think it's a "we" type question.

Do "we" want a leader that will take away pistols?  Do "we" want a leader that sponsors nationalized healthcare?

Some people do while others don't.

The real question is:  do you?

Won't most people just be voting for "that smart thinking Distict Attorney guy" on TV?

Who actually knows this guy outside of the TV show Law & Order?

So Fred Thompson is a slacker because he only was able to get 4 laws past.
Well, after a quick searce, it appears Ms. Hilliary has only two.

Now personally I don't judge how effective a legislator is by how many bills
they sponsor and get passed.  Especially when a lot of that legislation is
either garbage, unnecessary, excessively costly or the naming of a post office.

Frankly, given a choice, I prefer legislators that focus on squelching ludicrous
legislation like a Senator Tom Coburn for example..

Gee.  The very same thing that I was thinking about Obamma.  Outside of Illinois, who actually knows this guy?

Unless you've been married to a president or have been on TV, you go from locally known to nationally known for the presidential candidates.

The problem I have with Thompson is his health issues.  Lymphoma/Leukemia.  Speaking from experience, it can cause a lot of fatigue, etc.

I never knew of any of the presidents until Reagan, and I was just a kid then. It is a responsibility that if you are going to vote, to inform yourself of all of the candidates; that's how you get to know them.
