Maybe it smells that way because you’ve been going to the China Gate……try a good restaurant for a change. ;D

I never ate at China Buffet.  The only other Chinese place I eat at in Monroe is the place on Monroe St. that used to be a Wendy's.  For some reason I love the Peking Ribs.

It's in the old wendy's building nest to Michigan Bar. The sweet and sour chicken is very good but it is more sweet than sour, and the chicken they use is all white meat. If you go there try the garlic chicken its very delicious. The vegetables are a little crunchy than most, but they are fresh. We have been to Asiana only once and everything was very good.

That's what I had for dinner last night....their garlic chicken. I was craving it  :D

Thanks for all the replies.

The wife and I will have to make the rounds…..and report our findings. ;)

China Wok next to Food Town is awesome!  They have great General Tso's Chicken.  It's a total dive but those usually make for the best food.

Asiana is great too!

I third this motion. LOL ;)

I don't like their sweet and sour chicken, or their eggrolls, but the General Tso's and the Lake Tung Ting Shrimp are awesome.

I love sweet & sour chicken so where on Monroe is it located?

I hated the China Gate…. barely warm dried out food.

The Chinese restaurant on Telegraph and West Rd had funny tasting chicken so I’ll never go there again.

The wife and I always go to the Rose Garden on Telegraph and Ford Rd for good sweet and sour chicken (and egg rolls)

I’d rather remain around Monroe.

I haven’t been to the Asiana yet…..Does anyone know anything about the place?

Fry.  We really llike Asiana.  Nice people and they must treat their employees well as they don't seem to have much turnover in the waitstaff.  Also very reasonably priced.  It would be perfect if you could get a beer with dinner.  But that won't keep me from going. LOL  ;D
