I saw it as a joke, but I also remembered Paul's word to always give a defense of the scripture. So I just wanted to show scripture in it's truth, being it was being spoken about.

You know what Sojo, you never did answer my question yesterday.  Why do you stick around MT all day instead of starting your own ministry or perhaps join the Bible thumpers on the street corners.

I really don't get it.  I mean I've been told that you thrive on this sort of stuff.  If that's so, it's a bigger sin than being gay in my opinion.  You should really consider preaching in a proper setting if you feel so deeply about it.

I stated my beliefs about homosexuality in a thread related to homosexuality, and people freak out. I wasn't trying to preach, just merely stated what I believe. It's the reaction I get from stating my beliefs that causes such chaos.

But what should we expect? Jesus and all His disciples were killed for stating the same things plainly.

I'm Catholic and don't mind preaching when I'm in church.  That's after all what I show up for.  But not here.  You stir things up on purpose and expect no one to react.  You count on that reaction.  You love and live for it.  You think it makes you a God warrior but all it does is make you an instigator.  God doesn't like instigators Sojo.  Didn't they teach you that in Born Again Christian school?

So AGAIN...why not start your own ministry instead of preaching to people who don't want to be preached to.  Make them come to you.  It's much more effective.

This makes me with that Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure was real.  If it were, I would have had Rufus take us back to the New Testament times where you would have most certainly been a disciple and you know the rest of the story.
