I originally posted this last year and since so many have joined MT since then.
I thought I would bring it up again.
Suggestions for the Monroe County Fair

What changes would you make to the Monroe County Fair?

There was some good responses and answers last time and since the new building was put up, I thought there could be more suggestions.

I still go by the what I said before.
1. Have the Demolition Derby on two nights. Since it always draws a big crowd and lots of traffic.
2. Move the horse stalls that are used for the horses that pull the wagons to be moved by the Glen Stock Arena. I have seen a lot of horses get a little "skittish" every now and then.

Any more thoughts?

prices, prices, prices.  I realize the fair can not do anything about the vendors but come on!  doesn't matter though I still have to have my fried cheese and lemonade.

Not to sound snotty, but...not much!  I do go, just one day, so the kids can "experience" it. I will say I used to be the Demolition Derby Queen and everyone I worked with were shocked to know that I LOVED the Derby. (If you knew me, you would understand why they were SO shocked.  I am a bit of a "Princess."  I kind of grew out of the derby phase.  I know a lot of people enjoy it though.  I usually walk in the parade for work.--Good Exercise.   Thanks for Asking

Definitely Here!  I KNOW there wouldn't be room for all 3 at my house!!!  I'm the ONLY Princess allowed at home.  Actually, the only Princess at work too!!! :-)
